Korff AG has made a name for itself in the manufacture of special aluminium foils. Our spectrum ranges from solutions for construction applications such as the Superwand DS® insulation panel for effective thermal insulation to our Kovatex vapour barriers and AKD10 gas barrier, which is radon-proof.

Kovatex and gas barriers AKD 5 and AKD 10 are radon barrier
Korff AG had the Kovatex aluminium vapour and gas barrier and the AK 5 gas barrier tested for radon impermeability by the radon expert, Dr Kemski. The results confirmed that the materials tested can be classified as radon-impermeable.
The AKD 5 and AKD 10 vapour barriers are constructed from stronger materials than the tested AK 5. Against this background, these products can also be regarded as radon-tight.
