Examples of special applications of aluminium foil
Korff AG has made a name for itself in the manufacture of special aluminium foils. Our spectrum in this respect ranges from solutions for building applications such as Fixophon aluminium foil for effective heat and sound insulation or the Superwand DS® insulation board to our Kovatex vapour barriers and AKD 5 and AKD 10 gas barriers, all of which are radon-proof.

Kovatex and gas barriers AKD 5 and AKD 10 are radon barrier
According to the following report, Kovatex an AK aluminium vapour barrier are to describe as a radon barrier. The gas barrier AKD 5 and AKD 10 are even stronger than the materials tested AK 5. Accordingly, these gas barriers can be referred to as radon barrier too.
